RQI Online Course – What to Expect

We send online courses three times daily between 8 AM and 5 PM. To complete the American Heart Association online course, you’ll need a computer or tablet; phones are not supported.

The course is adaptive, adjusting to your current knowledge level. This means the time needed to complete it depends on your experience:

  • BLS: 1–2 hours
  • ACLS or PALS: 3–4 hours
You can take the course at your own pace—start and stop whenever it’s convenient. No need to finish it all at once!

Performing CPR is Physically Exhausting

When you register for a CPR class, be aware that performing chest compressions on a manikin can strain your hands, wrists, arms, or body. If you have pre-existing physical issues like pain, carpal tunnel, weakness, or an injury, it’s best to wait until you’re in better condition before participating.

If you get fatigued or run out of time during the session, no worries! Just call our office—we’ll reschedule you at no extra cost. Alternatively, you’re welcome to stay and complete your skills later in the same room.
